The Magnificent Seven is a collective fan name for the seven major home video distributors of Australia around the time home video took off down under. These distributors are as follows:

Around the time these seven had been established, RCA/Columbia Pictures International Video had not yet entered into the Australian market, and Buena Vista Home Entertainment was distributing its videotape releases through Creative Video, a subsidiary of Syme Home Video, one of the smaller outfits in Australasia.
