Before RKO formed its own home video division, which was later acquired, along with home video rights to its library, by Turner Home Entertainment, other companies had non-exclusive rights to the library. This page breaks down who had what.
Blackhawk Video

[edit]This company held the video rights to the Wald-Krasna library, to which Gold Key Entertainment (later folded into Four Star International) held ancillary rights until the '90s when RKO repurchased the library. A few standalone RKO features were also released by VCI.
