History[edit]

WEA Manufacturing Inc. was the record, cassette and CD manufacturing arm of Warner Music Group. The arm was formed sometime in 1978 and exclusively provided audio duplication initially, but over a decade later, the arm began providing videocassette duplication in addition to audio duplication. The arm also duplicated a few LaserDiscs in the 1990s. In October 2003, the arm was sold to Cinram International Inc.
