I'm just so curious: How did you know Video Cassette Duplicating Corp. was an affiliate of Video Treasures? --Videolover1999 (talk) 22:16, 24 October 2023 (UTC)

Over a year ago, I discovered an article published in 1992 on Google Books that stated that the Handleman Company owned several companies including Video Treasures, Inc., Video Cassette Sales, Inc. and Video Cassette Duplicating Corp., the latter two companies which appear to have been related to the former. Recently, I found out on some issues of Billboard magazine published in 1987 that Video Treasures, Inc. was originally a division of Video Cassette Sales, Inc. (though I had previously thought that Video Cassette Sales, Inc. was just a distributor for Video Treasures, Inc.). Also, according to a NY Times article published on February 23, 1989, which I have also discovered recently, the Handleman Company acquired Video Treasures, Inc., alongside its related companies, in January 1989. Those sources appeared to imply to me that Video Cassette Duplicating Corp. had to have been an affiliate of either Video Treasures, Inc. or Video Cassette Sales, Inc. 69.85.235.224 11:55, 25 October 2023 (UTC)
