The following is a list of unknown duplicators. Once a duplicator in this list is identified, it should be removed from the list and a page should be created for it.

How to Tell

  • Earlier tapes would have printings above the spot where the record tab would be, like this for example:

Beginning around late 1989, this was changed to engraved letters and numbers.

  • Some earlier tapes also had a sticker with information on it on the bottom middle side, like this for example:

Around 1990, this was changed to printings on the tape guard. Sometimes, it would appear like this for example:

  • Some RCA/Columbia Pictures Home Video tapes duplicated by this company had a black screen test pattern with a 1133hz tone at the end.

  • Some tapes duplicated by this company have shuffling color bars and/or color static. Some others do not have anything.

  • Some tapes duplicated by this company have shuffling color bars and/or color static.

How to Tell

  • Tapes duplicated by this company had a white number 75 or 80 above the recording tab spot (possibly indicating tape length).
  • There is no other known form of printing on tapes from this duplicator, aside from the number above the recording tab spot.

  • Some tapes duplicated by this company had the number 105 stamped in dark red ink on the right side of the tape shell.
  • Tapes duplicated by this company also had a sticker on the right side of the tape shell. The information on the sticker was usually like this for example:
