During the early 1990s, did Disney/Buena Vista ever use the Technicolor "No Print Date" barcode stickers on some of their tapes (the same kind used on some Video Treasures, Burbank Video, MNTex Entertainment, Starmaker Entertainment, Vestron Video, Avon, Simon Marketing, etc. tapes), or did they always use print dates whether they were inked or sticker printed? Well, some Disney/Buena Vista tapes duplicated at Technicolor's New York plant from 1992-1995 that have print dates contained the prefix "WD" followed by either a five or six-digit version of the tape's stock number and either "VPD," "VP," "-V," or "-S."

One thing I noticed at the end of my copy was that during the closing credits to each episode, as well as the video promo, both the audio and video elements were out of sync.
While I believe "-S" indicated SP mode, I don't think "VPD", "VP" and "-V" indicated anything, but ironically, Matsushita Electric/Panasonic would develop a speed called VP for some of their VCRs almost a decade later.

Disney's The Little Mermaid - Ariel's Undersea Adventures: Stormy, the Wild Seahorse

I got this tape on Friday and my copy was pressed on May 30, 1994 at Technicolor Video Services in Camarillo, CA (the printing on my copy was printed on silkscreen ink and there is a barcode next to the printing, also printed in silkscreen).

One thing I noticed at the end of my copy was that during the closing credits to each episode, as well as the video promo, both the audio and video elements were out of sync.
