Walt Disney Studios Home Entertainment/Buena Vista Home Entertainment Edit

Some releases were of public domain material; these were branded as Cinema Classics. The first two waves were issued under the Walt Disney Home Video label and were duplicated at BHCP Video in Northbrook, where Prism Entertainment's Silver Screen Edition line of public domain material was also being duplicated; starting with the third wave, new releases went out under the Buena Vista Home Video label and started using Disney's regular duplicator. The first four waves were packaged in the same black clamshells used on the Cartoon Classics Limited Gold Edition releases and early Classics tapes. All tapes in the Cinema Classics collection were available for a limited time only. In 1993, 32 of the best-selling titles in the collection were reissued for a limited time under the Walt Disney Home Video name; all 32 titles went back on moratorium the following spring.

Both are oddly enough preceded not by the AAP titles but by the 1968 United Artists Transamerica T with Doug Goodwin's fanfare. "The Case of the Missing Hare" uses a United Artists Associated print where the WB shield is plastered by the UA Hexagon. The other four cartoons are preceded by the AAP titles.
