Some Sources Said that S/T Videocassette was a Division of VCA Teletronics

Does anyone know when S/T Videocassette became a division of VCA Teletronics? From my knowledge, VCA started printing out print dates on their videotapes around 1982, but did they acquire S/T in 1982 or 1985? 69.85.235.231 14:04, 23 March 2022 (UTC)

  • S/T was a joint venture between Sony and Teletronics, so as far as I'm aware it was always a division. --IlCattivo25 (talk) 16:24, 23 March 2022 (UTC)

Interesting, so in other words, S/T is the abbreviation for Sony/Teletronics, am I right? 69.85.235.231 16:46, 23 March 2022 (UTC)

However, when VCA started a separate joint venture with Technicolor in the mid 1980s (maybe 1985 to be certain), was the “Sony/Teletronics” name changed to “Sony/Technicolor” or was it still the same? From my knowledge, Teletronics started distributing music video titles under license from a few record distributors like Columbia Records around that time. 2601:4C4:4000:A8C0:1CE3:F483:2848:E38D 02:08, 25 March 2022 (UTC)

  • Now that, I'm not entirely sure about. --IlCattivo25 (talk) 21:03, 25 March 2022 (UTC)

Anchor Bay Entertainment

Why did Anchor Bay Entertainment switch videotape duplicators from Technicolor Video Services to Allied Digital around the summer of 1995 despite the former being one of the Major Two duplication companies? 2601:4C4:4000:A8C0:5D1C:9359:1429:37BD 22:54, 21 May 2022 (UTC)

BCP UPC barcodes

Could someone post a picture of what they're talking about when they mention those barcodes on DuckTales, Fantasia, and Rescuers 2? --IlCattivo25 (talk) 14:54, 25 May 2022 (UTC)

I have proof about the one on "Fantasia" here.

You're welcome. 69.85.235.46 15:01, 25 May 2022 (UTC)
