I own one VHS tape from DIC Video that's distributed by Golden Book Video and it is the 1988 VHS release of "Heathcliff: Heathcliff Gets Framed".

Specifications of my copy:

  • Horizontal sticker label on the front of the cassette shell.
  • There was a ruler-shaped strip sticker label on the cassette spine when I got this tape, but I tore it off to see if there were any printings underneath the label and as it turns out, there weren't.
  • Duplicated by Bell & Howell/Columbia Pictures/Paramount Video Services (later known as Rank Video Services America) - barcode sticker on the tape guard, but no print/press date. Code on the vertical interval says "BHCP4" throughout the whole tape. White screen test pattern with red letterbox bars and 1000 hz sine-wave tone, which cuts to a fullscreen static screen, which then cuts to a short black screen with the "pull-my-finger" blare at the end. Although this tape has a Hi-Fi sound track in addition to the linear sound track, the "pull-my-finger" blare is only presented in the latter track and not in the former on this tape.
