The VHS Tapes I Own that were printed at Deluxe Video Services (including tapes from different duplicators recycled from those printed at this duplicator)

In order of release:

  • Happy Holidays Sing-Along Vol. 1 (1987) - 1987 VHS (True Value exclusive) - Print Date: N/A - Note: My copy includes an assembly date of October 12, 1987 and it ends with the white screen test pattern with the 1000 hz tone. I can't remember how long the test pattern ran on this one, though (was it 60 or 90 seconds?).
  • Texas Masquerade (1943) - 1991 VHS - Print Date: N/A - Note: My copy uses the 1991 black horizontal sticker-label and was recycled from an unsold copy of the 1989 VHS of "Game Players Game Tape Vol. 1, No. 5" that ends with the pull-my-finger sound (3 seconds).
  • Abbott & Costello Meet the Mummy (1955) - 1993 VHS - Print Date: 26th week of 1997 - Note: My copy uses the 1993 horizontal sticker-label and was recycled from an unsold copy of the 1994 VHS of "The Flintstones (1994)" that was printed on August 20, 1994.*
  • The Snowman (1982) - 1993 VHS - Print Date: 49th week of 2004 - Note: My copy uses the 2001 horizontal sticker-label.
  • Jurassic Park (1993) - 1994 VHS - Print Date: 28th week of 1994 - Note: My copy uses the 1994 horizontal sticker-label.**
  • Top Gun (1986) - 1996 VHS - Print Date: 36th week of 1996 - Note: My copy uses the 1996 horizontal sticker-label.*
  • The Little Rascals (1994) - 1998 VHS - Print Date: 50th week of 1998 - Note: My copy uses the 1998 horizontal sticker-label.
  • The Adventures of Milo & Otis (1989) - 1999 VHS - Print Date: 10th week of 2003 - Note: My copy uses the 2001 horizontal sticker-label.
  • Best of the Muppet Show Vol. 4 (2000) - 2002 VHS - Print Date: 42nd week of 2004 - Note: My copy uses the 2002 horizontal sticker-label.

The * indicates that the tape had a spine label when I got it, but I peeled it off to see if there was a printing underneath (whether the printing included dates or not). The ** indicates that I can't remember if the tape had a spine label when I got it or not. 69.85.235.48 19:36, 23 January 2023 (UTC)

An Unusual Sticker on a Bell & Howell Tape

So, I was skimming through my collection earlier this week, until I came across this small year/week code sticker below the tape guard of my copy of "The Batty World of Baseball." The code reads "TCA 221" (21st week of 1982), and what "TCA" stands for is beyond me.
