Add topicDIC Toon-Time Video[edit]
As of currently, I only own one VHS tape from this label, and it is the 1994 VHS release of "Hulk Hogan's All-Time Champ" (1985).
Specifications of my copy:
- Horizontal silkscreen-inked label on the front of the cassette shell.
- Duplicated by Technicolor Videocassette, Inc./Video Services in Livonia, Michigan, using a Sony Sprinter machine - grey inked printings on the cassette spine. The printings include the catalog number "WD02354VPD". Print/press date: November 19, 1993.
- "BVHV" engraved in orange on the right side of the cassette shell.
Here is what the tape has at the beginning:
- Warning screens (1991-1998, 2003; regular green/white version)
- DIC "Kid in Bed" logo (1990-2001; 1990-1999 version) (long variant with the 1990-1999 child voiceover)
- Opening sequence to the episode
Here is what the tape has at the end:
- Closing sequence to the episode
- Saban Productions logo (1984-1988) (with the ultra high-pitched fanfare)
- DIC "Kid in Bed" logo (1987-1990; 1987-1988 "TM" trademark symbol version) (long variant with the 1987-1990 child voiceover) [most likely plastered over the 1982-1988 DIC "Vortex" logo; I do not know which variant of the logo, though]
- Coca-Cola Telecommunications logo (1987) (with the muffled fanfare) [most likely plastered over the 1982-1989 Columbia Pictures Television logo (with the regular "A UNIT OF THE COCA-COLA COMPANY" byline)]
Yeah, basically, for some odd reason, a late 1987 syndication print of the episode was used for this release and I'm sort of surprised the Coca-Cola Telecommunications logo was not deleted.
