The arm's first licensee was CBS Video Enterprises, who would go on to merge with 20th Century Fox Video to form The CBS/Fox Company. Other clients used the SGHE label for titles licensed from Goldwyn, most notably Embassy Home Entertainment and HBO Video.
In 1994, the label found a permanent home, Hallmark Home Entertainment. The label shut down after Goldwyn had folded into Orion Pictures.
