Maverick Entertainment Group is a low-budget American independent motion picture and DVD distribution company founded in 1997 by Doug Schwab and based in South Florida.

In its earlier years, the company partnered with York Entertainment whereas the company will supervise the releases of Maverick and York as a partnership. In 2001, Maverick split off from York and became an independent supplier.
