I own a VHS copy of "Top Gun" from 1996. It had the spine/end label when I got it, but I peeled it off to get to the number, and the number said 59. Mine was pressed on the 36th week of 1996. [[Special:Contributions/69.85.235.224|69.85.235.224]] 17:40, 29 September 2023 (UTC)

I believe that's actually August 26, 1999.

Did this particular tape have a white screen with the 1000hz sine wave tone at the end? 69.85.235.224 11:57, 25 September 2023 (UTC)

Yes, it does have that white screen and tone at the end. Thanks for correcting me on the typo! --Videolover1999 (talk) 22:58, 25 September 2023 (UTC)

No problem. Anyway, I noticed some residue, was there a rental sticker or spine/end label on this tape at one point? 69.85.235.224 12:13, 26 September 2023 (UTC)
