According to The VCR From Heck, Trans-Atlantic Video released two Rankin/Bass specials on VHS; Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer and The Little Drummer Boy, both released in 1988, one year prior to the official Family Home Entertainment releases. However, since Trans-Atlantic is mainly specialized in public domain content, it's unknown if they licensed both tapes or if they're unauthorized. |
