My copy's the US copy, and the day-year code's 22789. (227th day of 1989, or August 15, 1989) - Simas

The 1989 release date according to Disney Wiki was September 28th. Your copy is probably an early pressing. By the way, does your copy have the phone dial-tones [DTMF signaling] at the beginning and end? Is there something on the left or right side of the tape like a white barcode sticker? 2601:4C4:4000:A8C0:5D2:A0B8:1D2A:7906 22:30, 19 March 2022 (UTC)

There is no barcode sticker on the tape itself, and it indeed does have the DTMF tones at the beginning and end. - Simas
