So it seems that 1981, 1982 and presumably 1983 are 36-1, and two 1986 releases are 36-2. But about the later variations, I deduce:
* 036-4 is probably either hard to find or never made it to video stores at all. :(
* 036-53 was probably released on 05-3119-1988. The 07-12-1991 issue uses the same cover alteration, except 07-12-1991 has the 1989 Classics logo variation on screen1987.
* 036-4 is extremely hard to find. This bracket number was probably released 02-02-1988.
* 036-6 would have been released 11-04-1992, because this issue has the regular Proof of Purchase tab label.
* 036-5 was probably released 03-31-1988.
 
* 036-6 has a regular "Proof of Purchase" tab label in addition to a separate insert label. This bracket number was probably released 11-04-1992.

And as far as I know, only certain copies of the 07-12-1991 re-issue of 036-5 use the newer 1989 Classics logo variation on-screen.
