The Loud House is an American animated television series created by Robert Taylor for CBS on October 6, 1968. The series revolves around the chaotic everyday life of a boy named Lincoln Loud, who is the middle child and only son in a large family of 11 children. It is set in a fictional town in southeastern Michigan called Royal Woods, based on Savino's hometown of Royal Oak. The series is based on Savino's own childhood growing up in a large family, and its animation is largely influenced by newspaper comic strips. On May 23, 1993, the series was moved to Nickelodeon due to comics for the show and Garfield now being owned by Universal Press Syndicate. On January 2, 2006, a commercial for the show's first theme song was released. On October 5, 2017, Chris Savino was replaced with Michael Rubiner due to the Weinstein effect. On March 6, 2018, it was announced that Nickelodeon was developing a spinoff of The Loud House, which was The Casagrandes. On February 5, 2019, it was announced that film for the show was originally going to be theatrically released on February 7, 2020, but the film had a digital release on Netflix on August 20, 2021. On August 6, 2019, Garfield and Friends' owner, Paws, Inc. was bought by Nickelodeon due to the show being moved to that channel in 1993.

Logo: Same as the 1965 CBS ID, but CBS is replaced with TLH and the CBS eye logo was replaced with Lincoln Loud.

Variant: A videotaped version can be seen on Season 4 episodes of The Loud House.

Technique: Cel animation, by Hanna-Barbera.

Audio: Same as the 1965 CBS ID.

Availability:

Used to appear on Seasons 1-4 of The Loud House, which were aired from 1968 to 1993 and was on the 1987 VHS release of The Loud House: Lincoln Loud & Goofy along with a Season 5 short.
But on the aforementioned tape, and reruns of those seasons, this logo was plastered with the next one.

2nd Logo (September 22, 1986-May 21, 1993)[edit]

Logo: On a shiny red background, we see the letters T in green, L in blue and H in red. The letter T turns pink into a cursive font and gets turned into the word The, while the letters L and H turn white and turn into the words "Loud" and "House" in uppercase.

Technique: CGI.

Audio: The beginning of Beethoven's "Symphony No. 9".

Availability:

Seen on Season 5 of The Loud House, which was never aired on television along with Seasons 1-4 after the show was moved to Nickelodeon starting with Season 7.
The fifth season only had one home video release, which was The Loud House: Lincoln Loud & Goofy, which were released on VHS by Rhino Home Video on 1987, which also has Season 1-4 episodes.

Legacy: After Season 7 of The Loud House was released, Seasons 1-5 were never added on Nickelodeon for for unknown reasons. However, videos of all episodes from Seasons 1-5 can still be found on YouTube, with the only episode that is currently lost being the Season 4 episode "Star Linc".

3rd Logo (July 12, 1990-August 1, 2002)[edit]

Logo:

1990-1992: On a white background with a yellow tint, we see the word "The" is seen a script font in blue on top of "Loud House" all in uppercase in a retro 1970's font.
1993-2002: We see a purple house with each word in different fonts and color schemes. The Nickelodeon logo is seen on the left top of the house.

Technique: Traditional animation.

Audio: Same as the 2nd logo.

Availability:

Seen on Seasons 6-7 of The Loud House, which were aired until 2003, and had eight VHS releases by Sony Wonder from 1993 to 1995.
However, on the Paramount reprints of the The Loud House Sony Wonder tapes, this logo was omitted.
This version of the intro was also shown when Seasons 6-7 ran on Noggin from 1999-2002.

4th Logo (November 2, 1998-February 28, 2006)[edit]

Logo: On a blue-gray striped background, the then current logo of the show fades in, which fades to white then black at the end.

Technique: CGI.

Audio: Same as the 3rd logo.

Availability:

Seen on Season 8 of The Loud House on Nickelodeon, which was last anired along with Season 9 in 2006.
Plasters the 3rd logo on the Paramount reprints of The Loud House VHS releases by Sony Wonder.

5th Logo (August 2, 2002-March 2, 2006)[edit]

Logo: On a round orange striped background with stripes moving from right to left for 10 seconds, a light blue-violet ellipse rotated 30 degrees to the left with the word "The" in light blue-violet with LOUD HOUSE in a hand-drawn font in uppercase slides to the left after 2 seconds, which shines after 10 seconds.

Technique: 2D animation.

Audio: Same as the 4th logo.

Availability:It can also be seen on the first DVD releases of The Loud House along with the previous logo.

6th Logo (March 3, 2006-September 27, 2009)[edit]

Logo: We see an orange house shape in a white background with the words "The" and "House" in black, and "Loud" in white. The Nickelodeon logo is seen on the top-right of the house, and the byline "Created by Chris Savino" appears on the bottom.

Technique: 2D animation.

Audio: A new theme song for the show, composed by Butch Hartman.

Availability: Seen on Season 10 of The Loud House, the first season that is still being aired on Nickelodeon, which switched to the next logo on reruns since September 28, 2009.

7th Logo (September 28, 2009-February 8, 2014)[edit]

Logo: On a shiny yellow-orange background, a The Loud House logo (similar to the 10th logo) is shown. The byline "Created by Chris Savino." fades in below (prior to 2010, which would later be used for the logo show starting with 10th logo).

October 2, 2010-February 8, 2014: Bylineless.

Variants:

A 4:3 version exists on 4:3 airings of Seasons 10-11.
From 2010 to 2014, the Chris Savino byline was removed, and the logo was in a higher quality.

Audio: Same as the 6th logo.

Availability: Seen at the beginning of Season 11 of The Loud House, which switched to the 9th logo along with Season 12 on February 8, 2014.

8th Logo (March 1, 2012-February 7, 2014)[edit]

Logo: We see a lighter orange version of the 2012-2014 The Loud House logo on a darker orange screen.

Variant: Like the previous Logo, a 4:3 version exists on 4:3 airings of this season.

Technique: None.

Audio: Same as the 7th logo.

Availability: Seen on all Season 12 episodes of The Loud House (except for Bathroom Break).

9th Logo (January 22, 2013-March 10, 2017)[edit]

Logo: We see the 2014-2016 print logo for The Loud House superimposed over the episode’s opening scene after the episode's title card.

Technique: The beginning of the episode.

Audio s: The beginning of the episode.

Availability:

It first appeared on the Season 12 episode Bathroom Break on January 22, 2013, before becoming the actual theme song for the merchandise and show on October 8, 2013 and February 9, 2014 respectively, but the other episodes with this logo are Season 13 episodes.
It was last used as the theme song on July 2, 2016, but it was still used on reruns of Season 13 until Nickelodeon's rebranding on March 11, 2017.

10th Logo (March 13, 2016-)[edit]

Logo: We see three colorful boxes appear showing Lincoln exiting out of his room, he quickly dodges both Lynn and Lisa, the former on her bike playing sports and the latter doing another one of her experiments. He briefly joins Lola's tea party, jams out to Luna's playing, and praises Lucy's poem. He dodges a fight between Lori and Leni over a dress. He leaps over a pile of laundry and is disgusted by Lily's stinky diaper as she walks by. Luan appears to throw a pie at her younger brother, but Lincoln dodges it in time as he finally makes it in the bathroom. In there, Lana unscrews the bathroom's sink with her wrench, resulting in Lincoln getting caught in a large stream of water until he reaches the stairs and slides on the banister. He runs past his sisters and grabs the TV remote. The sisters surround their brother and give a chase. It shows a black screen of Lincoln and then his sisters, showing how many siblings he has. It shows the Loud residence, and Lincoln jumps on the couch as he's about to watch TV, but his sisters immediately join him too. Lincoln is shocked at first, but he's happy his sisters are with him as he turns on the TV. The screen turns black and shows the show's logo. Lily walks past the logo and exclaims, "Poo-poo!" as the caption "Created By Chris Savino" appears.

Trivia: The kids are all shaded with their theme colors in the picture frames:

- On the title card of "Lynner Takes All", Lynn's game pieces are colored in the same colors as in the picture frames from this logo.

Variants:

Starting in Season 17, "Created by Chris Savino" was changed to dark gray.
11 Louds A Leapin used a Christmas version of the logo.
On Tricked, Lily was replaced with a ghost.
On Two Boys and a Baby, the Nickelodeon logo changed to the Nick Jr. logo on top of The Loud House logo by mistake.
A shortened version of this logo exists on some episodes of Seasons 17-19, which has a different intro for The Casagrandes.

Audio: A new version of The Loud House theme song composed by Jonathan Hylander also comes in 41 other languages. Strangely, 4 versions exist in Persian and 2 versions exist in Vietnamese.

This version of the logo comes in 39 languages, unlike the previous logos. Strangely, 4 versions exist in Persian and 2 versions exist in Vietnamese.
In Season 17 onwards, Lily saying "Poo-poo!" was censored, since The Loud House was a kids show, which caused it to be unavailable in Kenya since 2017.

Availability:

Seen on the first commercial for Season 14 on March 13, 2016, before it was shown on all episodes of The Loud House starting with Left in the Dark.
The English version of this logo can also be found in the Albanian, Turkish and Filipino versions of the show.
Don't expect this logo to appear on The Loud House Movie, since that film uses the film's title card instead.
