How to Tell
- Earlier tapes would have printings above the spot where the record tab would be, like this for example:
T-100
024888-2
Beginning around late 1989, this was changed to engraved letters and numbers.
- Some earlier tapes also had a sticker with information on it on the bottom middle side, like this for example:

HOLIDAY
Slave #V SP Pass 3
Around 1990, this was changed to printings on the tape guard. Sometimes, it would appear like this for example:

- Some RCA/Columbia Pictures Home Video tapes duplicated by this company had a black screen test pattern with a 1133hz tone at the end.

- Some tapes duplicated by this company had the number 105 stamped in dark red ink on the right side of the tape shell.
- Tapes duplicated by this company also had a sticker on the right side of the tape shell. The information on the sticker was usually like this for example:

- However on some tapes, the sticker said "DELUXE MEDIA" instead of "PARAMOUNT."
