The Express+ 3910 was originally a 6th-generation Roku player. In 2018, when Roku launched the 7th generation of Roku players, the Express+ 3910, along with other 2017 6th-generation Roku players such as the Express 3900, Stick 3800, and Stick+ 3810, were carried over to the newer generation without any changes.
