Line 26:
Over a year ago, I once saw a sealed RCA/Columbia tape that had the film reel watermarks, which I found odd, because at the time, I thought they started doing those watermarks the year RVSA became Deluxe Video Services (1998).

A few months ago, I’ve got at least two pre-1998 Paramount tapes with the silver Paramount seal-sticker. They were both Rugrats tapes. "Return of Reptar" (pressed during the 16th week of 1997 / PAR 716), and "Tommy Troubles" (pressed during the 26th week of 1997 / PAR 726). When I got both tapes, they had the film reel watermarks on the shrink wrapper over the back of the packaging. Weirdly, my “Return of Reptar” tape also had a little bit of the Paramount Home Video logo watermarks imprinted on the spine of the packaging. And to my awareness, watermarks can get imprinted on the packaging overtime.

I'd like to know how the watermarks were printed on the shrink wrappers. Did they print the watermarks after sealing the shrink wraps over the product, or before? And did they have to experiment with several wrappers before deciding which one to place over the product?
