Since 1988, ironically as Sony entered the VHS VCR market, it has became one of the exclusive tape providers for Deluxe Video Services. However, some duplicators outside of Deluxe used Sony tape stock as well for a small number of copies of videotapes they duplicated.

Notes[edit]

  • Some tapes have either the Sony logo or “MADE IN U.S.A.” moulded on the back right of the cassette.
