- Some Disney VHS releases and DVDs from late 2003 and 2004 have a preview for a North American release of The Magical World of Winnie the Pooh, which was mostly an international-exclusive series. Both volumes were released on VHS and DVD in North America on February 8, 2005.

- A planned installment of the Disney Learning Adventures series featuring the Disney Princesses, which was supposed to teach children about letters, phonics, reading and writing skills. The installment was advertised in a promo for the Disney Learning Adventures series seen on some Disney DVDs in 2005 and early 2006, as well as being featured on a press release alongside Disney Princess Sing-Along Songs: Perfectly Princess on the DVDizzy website in 2005. However, this installment ended up getting scrapped.
- While the official reason why the installment was scrapped is unknown, it is possible that the installment was scrapped when Disney was slowly phasing out its Disney Princess line of VHS and DVD releases following the critical failure of the Disney Princess: A Christmas of Enchantment DVD.

- In 2009, a Baby Einstein DVD titled World of Colors was advertised on some Baby Einstein DVDs released that year. It would teach young children about colors from around the world and be hosted by a peacock character.
- A Baby Einstein blog was posted on September 25, 2009 about the video being released. The post quotes: "We're always thinking of interesting ways to bring the amazing diversity and beauty of the world to young kids. Baby Einstein has always been inspired by colors (just look at our logo!) and over the past year, we've spent a lot of time exploring this theme. Namely how babies come to identify all the different hues they see. It occurred to us that there are so many vibrant, bold colors represented across the globe, why not introduce those shades as represented by different cultures? That's how we came up with the concept behind World of Colors, our newest DVD coming in 2010! We just completed filming World of Colors and will keep you up-to-date with some fun behind-the-scenes images and stories of our adventures!"
- Ultimately, the DVD never ended up being released, most likely due to a lawsuit against the Baby Einstein DVD series filed by the Federal Trade Commission in 2009 over false claims of the series' educational value. A "Discovery Kit" DVD was released in 2010 that shares the same title, but is actually a remake of the previously-released Baby Van Gogh.
- In 2016, some clips of World of Colors were uploaded to YouTube after previously being discovered on Baby Einstein's Facebook page.
