How to Tell

[edit]
  • Tapes from this duplicator had white printings (e.g. 40 99 or 60 1).
  • On most post-1987 Viking Video Classics/Troy Gold and post-1988 Burbank Video tapes printed here, the face label was the "label-it-yourself" type. Most of these tapes inexplicably had nothing written on the labels. However, on some of these tapes, the title and runtime length were stamped on the label, while on some copies of "Batmania: From Comics to Screen" from Burbank Video, the title and the catalog number (beginning with #) were printed on the label.
  • Some tapes released by Troy Gold in 1988, namely their releases of "It's a Wonderful Life" and "The Little Princess," inexplicably contain a 'jagged edges' copy of the 'QUALITY PICTURE' variant of the 1986-1989 GTK Duplicating Co. tracking control disclaimer at the beginning.
  • Some tapes printed between 1990-1991, particularly later Burbank Video tapes, had "CS" along with serial-esque numbers stamped on the right side of the cassette shell.
