This home video label was launched after Disney acquired Miramax Films in June 1993. In 2010, Disney sold off Miramax Films to Filmyard Holdings. Then in 2016, the company was sold to beIN Media Group. Around early 2020, beIN sold a 49% stake in the company to ViacomCBS, now known as Paramount Global. Since then, Paramount Global has owned the North American rights to most of Miramax Films' library, including the pre-mid 2005 library of Dimension Films, with international rights held by beIN Media Group.
August 1994
These titles were co-released under the Touchstone Home Video label.

- First release under any Disney subsidiary to use the Flashbang bumpers.
- Opens with theatrical trailers for Fresh, Pulp Fiction, and Highlander III: The Sorcerer, and a video trailer for Mother's Boys.
- The tape ends with the last on-camera interview w/ Brandon Lee, who was killed during the making of The Crow. A unique Flashbang bumper following the opening trailers advertises this. This is retained on all future VHS releases of the film.
