• Feature Films for Families referred to the company as simply Matrix Video on the labels of tapes duplicated by the company.
• In 1992, a few tapes returned by Cinderella Productions were reused by The Video Company in a 32,500-unit production run of The Best Christmas Pageant Ever for Scholastic. One such tape was shown by a Salt Lake City classroom a few days before Christmas that year; due to TVC forgetting to erase the originally recorded pornographic material, scandal ensued and the producers of the special sued both TVC and Matrix over the affair.
