This company was founded in 1988. The "MNTEX" part of its name was a portmanteau of two states: Minnesota and Texas. Most of the company's releases were obscure B-movies, though occasionally, the company also released public domain material, as well as material that was once believed to be in the public domain.
In 1991, the company became a division of Video Treasures.
