Kultur International Films

From Home Video

History[edit]

Kultur International Films was originally formed in 1981 by Dennis Hedlund that specializes in the distribution and production of performing arts, history, literature, theater, and other genres on home video formats. In its earlier years, the company was distributed by Electric Video, but Electric's financial troubles forced Kultur to set up its distribution business.

In 1990, the company launched a general entertainment label, White Star Entertainment, to release non-musical titles, such as original programs for TV. A decade later, the company launched yet another label, SRO Entertainment to produce sports and comedy programs for television.
