Jenal Entertainment

History

[edit]

This company was founded sometime in 1988. Most of its releases were of obscure B-movies, which were often renamed under a different title. Until 1989, it was known as Ground Entertainment. By the very beginning of 1991, the company absorbed another obscure B-movie supplier, Bingo Video, and around the spring of that year, the company as a whole was absorbed into Burbank Video, then a division of Viking Entertainment Corporation. Afterwards, nearly a dozen labels, namely Front Row Entertainment, JTC Video and MNTEX Entertainment, had re-issued titles previously available from this company.
