Eaton Entertainment

History

Eaton Entertainment is a home video distributor that was formed in 1997. It specialized in the production of unauthorized VHS and DVD releases, such as N*SYNC, Blink-182, Limp Bizkit and Backstreet Boys.

In 1999, Lions Gate Films acquired a controlling interest in the company.

In 2000, the company acquired Trimark Holdings, of which Trimark Home Video was a division. Afterwards, the labels Trimark Home Video, Eaton Entertainment, Studio Home Entertainment and Avalanche Home Entertainment were consolidated to form the U.S. Lions Gate Home Entertainment in 2000, with Eaton remaining as a label. The Eaton label disappeared in 2002.
