History[edit]

Eaton Entertainment is a home video distributor that was formed in 1997. It specialized in the production of unauthorized VHS and DVD releases, such as N*SYNC, Blink-182, Limp Bizkit and Backstreet Boys.

In 1999, Lions Gate Films acquired a controlling interest in the company.

In 2000, the company acquired Trimark Holdings, who owns Trimark Home Video. Afterwards, the labels Trimark Home Video, Eaton Entertainment, Studio Home Entertainment and Avalanche Home Entertainment were consolidated to form the U.S. Lions Gate Home Entertainment in 2000, with Eaton remaining as a label. The Eaton label disappeared in 2002.
