History[edit]
The word Productions was added to the Video West name in 1994 in an effort to reflect its full range of production capabilities after the 1993 purchase of sister division Bonneville Communications.[1] On March 2, 2002, it was announced that KSL Television and Video West Productions would merge their operations, resulting in 18 job cuts over the following month. Video West Productions was absorbed under the KSL name, while the Video West Duplication Center continued its operations under the new name of Bonneville Duplication.[2] On June 7, 2003, the company was sold to OptiDisc Solutions LLC.[3]

How to Tell[edit]
- Some tapes by this company generally had a two digit number stamped in dark ink on the right side of the tape (e.g. 98). Sometimes, two numbers (both with two digits) were used.
- Others, however, had no printings at all.
- At the beginning and end of some tapes by the company, there was a code in the vertical blanking interval that consisted of "VW," a date and four random two-digit numbers.
