This company was acquired by Allied Digital Technologies on January 9, 1999. In March of that year, said company's name was changed to Allied Vaughn.

List of Customers Edit

  • A.D. Vision (1992-1996)
  • Crocus Entertainment
  • The National Arbor Day Foundation
  • Silver Burdett Ginn (1991)
  • Simitar Entertainment (????-1998)

How to Tell Edit

  • Most tapes did not have any form of printing; however, some, such as one known copy each of Sol Bianca from A.D. Vision and Music Magic Video Library - From Mao to Mozart -- Issac Stern in China (Excerpts) from Silver Burdett Ginn, had the Vaughn V printed above the recording tab, with a number representing the tape length next to it, while others had a small V-XX tape length above the recording tab and an equally-sized long string of numbers on the spine (e.g. V-60 2-9406080134).
  • Early tapes, as well as several Simitar tapes duplicated here, had dark red printings consisting of the letter V (often represented by the Vaughn V) followed by two strings of numbers (e.g. [Vaughn V]3286 159900). Occasionally, the releasing company's name was stamped to the left (e.g. SIMITAR V3119 510601). On one known copy of From Beyond: Monsters and Sci-Fi Monsters, the Vaughn V was at the end of the code (e.g. 4831 62650[Vaughn V]). Tapes with such printings had a few extra seconds of black screen following the blank space at the tail-end.
  • Tapes from this duplicator do not have anything in the vertical blanking interval.
  • Tapes duplicated at the plants acquired with Centercom Inc. continued to use that duplicator's printings (e.g. 2 65951211 0914 00135 T75 or 2 65951354 0914 02213 T75). On some copies of Samurai Shodown: The Motion Picture, these printings were gray, due to the tape being white.
