* 036-1 is the bracket no. for the early 1980s (1981 rental and 1982 sale) releases.
* As far as I know, there doesn’t appear to be an issue of this title with bracket no. 036-4, and the issue with bracket no. 036-5 was 10-04-1988. The newer print master for this issue with the 1989 Classics logo at the start was actually released on 05-03-1991, because most print dates from early spring to early fall 1991 would’ve came with the video booklet that’s inside the original VHS release of “The Jungle Book,” also released 05-03-1991.
* All the 1992 and some 1993 print dates I have seen, especially with the ink-label with the “Disney’s CLASSICS” on the diamond on the label, are still bracket no. 036-5 from 1988/1991. The re-issue with bracket no. 036-6, the Proof of Purchase tab label above the back cover, and the “Walt Disney’s CLASSIC” moniker on the top of the front cover is actually from around
