In 1995, the company launched '''Kidmark''' as a label for children's releases. In 1997, the home video division was renamed to '''Trimark Home Video''' and soon started producing DVDs.
In 2000, Trimark merged with Lions Gate Entertainment, and in 2001, was one of the labels alongside [[Avalanche Home Entertainment]], [[Eaton Entertainment]] and [[Studio Home Entertainment]] that were consolidated into [[Lions Gate Home Entertainment]]. The Trimark label quietly disappeared in 2002.
