* 1987-1990 tapes duplicated by CBS/Fox would have a white sticker on the left side of the tape that consists of a random code and barcode lines, as well as invisible ink information on the bottom middle side of the tape, where the end label would be. Sometimes the information on there includes a day and year code read in the format where the last digit of the code is the last digit of the year the tape is printed, and other times the day and year code is read in the more usual Day/YY format.
** For example. if the day and year code is numbered "3008" or "300 88", that means the tape was printed on the 300th day of 1988.
** Sometimes, there are two side numbers next to the day and year code.
** On some tapes printed between January and June 1990, including certain pressings, earlier and later, of the original 1990 VHS of Disney's "The Little Mermaid", the day and year code is replaced by a conventional print date.
