* I wish I knew; of course, the latest Republic tape I have that's been duplicated at RVSA is ''Federal Agents vs. Underworld Inc.'', a serial that's been playing on my PBS station for the last few weeks now. --[[User:IlCattivo25|IlCattivo25]] ([[User talk:IlCattivo25|talk]]) 20:30, 30 October 2023 (UTC)

Revision as of 11:50, 31 October 2023

So we all know that in 1988, Republic Pictures sold their videocassette duplication plant, to Rank Video Services America.

However, by 1992, Republic Pictures and Vidmark Entertainment -- the latter a subsidiary of Trimark and which later became Trimark Home Video -- switched their usual videocassette duplicator, moving to Technicolor Videocassette, Inc. from Rank Video Services America. And I recall that the earliest copy of a Vidmark Entertainment tape I saw pressed by Technicolor Videocassette, Inc., was pressed in June 1992.

So, exactly when in 1992 did Republic and Vidmark move from RVSA to Technicolor, and why? 69.85.235.48 18:52, 30 October 2023 (UTC)
