Talk:List of Walt Disney Mini-Classics video releases: Difference between revisions

Line 18:
== The Prince and the Pauper ==
Later copies of "The Prince and the Pauper" 1991 VHS (I’m guessing after fall 1991) had the Mini-Classics logo, placed between the end of the film and the promo, and the copyright notice, after the promo, at the end. [https://youtu.be/JLWvzVFrg0U This video] appears to be the proof. [[Special:Contributions/2601:4C4:4000:A8C0:5099:5C29:7439:3978|2601:4C4:4000:A8C0:5099:5C29:7439:3978]] 01:07, 3 June 2022 (UTC)

== Once Upon a Mouse ==
If they ever released the documentary film, ''Once Upon a Mouse'' (1981) on VHS in North America, it would probably have been released in this series, and the release date would probably have been September 20, 1991, the same date ''The Rescuers Down Under'' came out on home video in the Black Diamond Classics series. And I think the contents would’ve been like this:

Opening:
# Red-orange warning screens (1984-1991) (Goudy Old Style font variant)
# Walt Disney Home Video logo (1986-2001) ("Sorcerer Mickey")
# Walt Disney Mini-Classics logo (1988-1993)
# Buena Vista Distribution logo (1979-1984)

Closing:
# Walt Disney Home Video logo (1986-2001) (fade-shortened, with Brian Cummings saying, "Coming from Walt Disney Home Video.")
# The Rescuers Down Under video preview

The tape itself would have either a horizontal ink-label or a vertical sticker-label, with the Mini-Classics logo and the Sorcerer Mickey next to the WDHV logo on the label.

Why this never happened at all, I have absolutely no idea.
