@MrServoRetro, I have seen a rumor on YouTube that the later pressings of the 1988 DuckTales VHS volume, “High-Flying Hero”, from 1989, have the Mini-Classics logo after the Sorcerer Mickey WDHV logo, but sadly I haven’t seen any proof or reference that it’s real. Is there any proof about the later copies of this volume having the Mini-Classics logo, or as I’m suspecting, is it just made up/fake? I have proof about this rumor here. 2601:4C4:4000:A8C0:7872:9B89:7594:953B 18:11, 7 May 2022 (UTC)

@IlCattivo25, @MrServoRetro: There are a lot of amateur collectors that say that Bongo and Ben and Me in the Mini-Classics are fall 1989 and the WTP featurettes and the Mickey's Christmas Carol short in the series are 1990 — well they're wrong! Bongo and Ben and Me are spring 1989, and an insert ad shown inside the Bambi VHS from 1989 proves the WTP featurettes were fall 1989 in the Mini-Classics series. Not to mention, the 1990 video release of "Mickey's Christmas Carol" was simply a re-issue, as that issue had the Proof of Purchase tab label, the vertical sticker-label and the Christmas Videos promo at the end, although the 1989 uses the Betamax style label and the Mini-Classics promo, and no proof of purchase tab labels at all.

There also does not exist 1990 video releases of the WTP featurettes; all print dates prior to late 1990 reuse the 1989 supplements. The variants of the releases that have the Proof of Purchase tab label but no additional changes to the masters were released in early 1991 instead, and June 1991 was when Disney released newer print-masters for the releases.

In one of the opening videos to a WTP featurette, someone on YouTube argued with the user systemoperator/Jiminy Cricket by saying the WTP featurettes in the Mini-Classics collection were in early 1990, even though Jiminy has given enough explanation of why they’re 1989. Question
