Post-2000 releases of pre-2000 titles

Can we include something about the post-2000 re-prints of the pre-2000 titles? These releases had a loop hole on the bottom of the case spine(s), which Disney initially used on their VHS slip-covers from 1986-1987 but did not use again until 2000. Besides, as of right now I happen to own a 2000 copy of Disneyland Fun (although the print date on the copy I own was April 11, 2001). I've also seen 2000 copies of "The Bare Necessities." I am trying to find out when in 2000 Disney returned to using these cover loop holes. Thank you in advance. 69.85.235.48 20:20, 13 January 2023 (UTC)

It's a Small World

It's a Small World was a water-based boat ride. It is an Old Mill-type attraction. It originated from April 22, 1964 to October 17, 1965 at the 1964 New York World's Fair as a salute to UNICEF (United Nations Children's Fund, formerly United Nations International Children's Emergency Fund) and later moved to Disneyland on May 28, 1966. Its working title was "Children of the World."

Its musical component was a song, entitled "It's a Small World (After All)"; this song was written by the Sherman brothers and published by Wonderland Music Company, Inc. in 1963.

Several renditions of the song exist, particularly those used on musical toys. A cover rendition of the song that was performed by The Disneyland Children's Sing-Along Chorus appeared on the album, "Disney's Children's Favorites Vol. 4" (1990). That rendition has since been used on coin-operated kiddie ride soundboards manufactured by various companies, particularly Taiwanese-based Eletech Enterprise Co., Ltd. Besides that, the original rendition of the song was used on some units of the Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck rides, manufactured by Merkur Kids (formerly Elektro-Mobiltechnik Kiddie Rides GmbH).

It is rumored that The Walt Disney Company (formerly Walt Disney Productions) has no copyright attached to the song, but they actually do. The original registration was given the record number EU0000793673 and its renewal in 1991 was given RE0000548478.

P.S., Disney's Children's Favorites was a series of albums containing cover renditions of various children's songs, most particularly traditional songs, performed by Larry Groce and/or The Disneyland Children's Sing-Along Chorus. The albums were volumed. There were four volumed albums released in the series; the first volume was released around July 1979 and did not contain medleys. The second volume, released around late 1979, and was the first in the series to contain medleys. The third one was released around late 1986. The fourth one was released around either mid- or late 1990, to promote the 35th anniversary of Disneyland and two of the songs on the fourth album ("Meet Me in St. Louis" and "Reuben and Rachel") were co-performed by Mary D'Arcy; in the meantime, the previous three were re-released with brand new cover artwork. Eventually, all four were re-released around 1991 with slightly modified versions of the 1990 cover artwork. Then they were re-released around 1996. Not only did the 1996 re-releases contain brand new cover artwork, but they changed the name of the series from Disney's Children's Favorites to Children's Favorite Songs on these re-releases. As of currently, these albums supposedly remain in print. 69.85.235.49 19:26, 27 April 2023 (UTC)

(nowadays, I throw away the business reply mail cards, since the company probably doesn't care about the survey questions on the back of those cards anymore, considering that VHS has been phased out since the late 2000s)
