How to Tell for Home Media Releases
- Most tapes by this duplicator do not have any form of printing on the cassette.
- Tapes from this duplicator do not have anything in the vertical blanking interval.
- Some tapes by this duplicator have a silent white screen test pattern, or sometimes the static roll of death at the end.
- Numerous EP/SLP mode tapes from this duplicator had a few extra seconds of black screen following the blank space at the tail-end.
- This duplicator has been known to use tape stock from a few different manufacturers and shells from an in-house manufacturer based in Dothan, Alabama. Tapes from mid-1995 to 1997 were recorded on Memorex tape stock.
- Tapes from 1998 to 1999 had the Sony logo engraved on the back right of the tape. However, some copies of Arthur's Chicken Pox were recorded on Memorex tape stock.
-
This is what the back of tapes from 1998 to 1999 looked like. In this picture, the Sony logo is molded on the back right.
