Line 1:
This label was formed as a result of an agreement that Viacom-owned MTV Networks signed with [[Sony Music Entertainment]] in May 1993, which gave Sony Music the video rights to programs airing on MTV, VH1 and Nickelodeon.

This label was also known as '''Nickelodeon Video'''.NOTE: Ever since the label switched distributors in July 1996, moving to [[Paramount Home Media Distribution|Paramount Home Video]] from Sony Music Entertainment, all Nickelodeon and Nick Jr. video releases, as well as all ads for them, from that point on carried either the Nickelodeon or Nick Jr. branding with no video indicator whatsoever (unless you count the DVD releases from 2002 to 2007), although since 2007, the label has been known as '''Nickelodeon Home Entertainment'''.
