How to Tell

  • Early tapes duplicated by this company from 1978-1984 use the color bar test pattern with similar high-pitch looping beep-tones.
  • Tapes duplicated by Media around 1985 to 1987 would have a sticker on the bottom spine or tape guard. The sticker has numbers and a year code on it.
