* The television series and the direct-to-video film were produced by Nelvana, itself a Canadian animation studio, in association with Wild Things Productions, which holds the copyrights and trademark rights to the franchise's name, characters and original story.
** In addition, the television series was co-produced with Nickelodeon's preschool television production arm, Nick Jr. Productions. Thus, Nickelodeon holds exclusive US distribution rights to the series, while Nelvana holds the copyrights and worldwide distribution rights to the series.
