Phase 4 Films (2010-2015)[edit]

In December 2009, Canadian distributor Phase 4 Films acquired the US and Canadian home entertainment rights to some of Nelvana's library, including the Canadian home entertainment rights to the Little Bear television series. These titles were released under the company's children's division label, kaBOOM! Entertainment.

Trivia[edit]

  • The television series and the direct-to-video film were produced by Nelvana, itself a Canadian animation studio, in association with Wild Things Productions, which holds the copyrights and trademark rights to the franchise's name, characters and original story.
    • In addition, the television series was co-produced with Nickelodeon's preschool television production arm, Nick Jr. Productions. Thus, Nickelodeon holds exclusive US distribution rights to the series, while Nelvana holds the copyrights and worldwide distribution rights to the series.
