* During the promo at the end of the video, the promo itself was updated to show this title and "Disneyland Fun", making this title the only one in the series to use this version of the promo. However, on copies of this release of the title prior to November 1990, the variant of the promo used in this title is the one with a snippet of the instrumental score from "Kids is Kids" and this title is wrongly referred to as volume 8, when that volume was actually “Very Merry Christmas Songs”. On copies printed after, this variation of the promo was replaced with the correct one.

* The first title in the series to use closed captions.
* During the "Be Our Guest" reprise at the end of the program, while the chorus says, "Our command is your request," the closed captions actually say, "PUT OUR SERVICE TO THE TEST." This was likely due to a caption editing goof-up.
* The earliest copies of this release of the title were printed on March 1, 1992.

Note: Back around 2006, a user on Wikipedia named Skymac207 falsely stated this title was released in 1991 and originally had the red-orange FBI warning screens just because the original copies had a vertical sticker-label. However, none of this information proved that this was from 1991, as Disney had continued using vertical labels on their videotape titles until 1997. Since then, he has been banned permanently from that platform, not only for this information and other false information, but also for creating sockpuppet accounts, including Angryman301.

== SeasonWave Three (1994-19992001) ==
During this particular wave, a special live-action sub-series called ''Mickey's Fun Songs'' was launched, possibly to compete with the television series ''Barney & Friends''. In addition, volume numbers were abandoned, and "Fun with Music" was never re-released again, though it would remain in stock until the late 1990s.
=== April 1994 ===
Two new releases in the "Mickey's Fun Songs" series opened with an intro for the series featuring the song "Let's Go" written by Dave Kinnoin. Filming of those two titles took place around 1993. Coinciding with the arrival of the home video debut of ''The Fox and the Hound'', pre-ordering for these titles opened on March 1, 1994.
