IIRC, February 23, 1988 was the date when this copy was assembled, and February 27, 1988 was the date when it was printed/pressed.

I actually happen to own about four tapes duped at Technicolor Videocassette's California plants that have those kind of date codes. They are:

1. Alice in Wonderland (1951) [The Classics] - 1988 VHS

Assembled on October 10, 1992. Printed/pressed on October 12, 1992.

Note: Uses the 1992 horizontal silkscreen-inked label.

2. The Three Caballeros (1944) - 1988 VHS

Assembled on May 10, 1992. Printed/pressed on May 12, 1992.

Note: Packaged in the 1992 revised version of the 1988 cover, where an ISBN code was added above the UPC on the back. Still uses the 1988 Betamax-style sticker label.

3. The Rescuers Down Under (1990) [The Classics] - 1991 VHS

Assembled on July 13, 1991. Printed/pressed on July 16, 1991.

Note: Version #2 - has the regular version of the 1984-1992 red-orange warning screens. Also uses the horizontal silkscreen-inked label.

4. The Reluctant Dragon (1941) [Walt Disney Mini-Classics] - 1991 VHS

Assembled on March 27, 1992. Printed/pressed on March 31, 1992.

Note: Packaged in the 1989 revised version of the 1988 cover, where an ISBN code was added above the UPC on the right spine. Still uses the 1988 Betamax-style sticker label.
