Mesmerized[edit]

For IlCattivo25.

Okay, I'm seriously confused. This movie was released theatrically in 1986 by Vestron Pictures (1985 by Thorn EMI in other countries). Vestron Video released the movie on home video in the late 1980s.

However, it appears that this movie is believed to be in the public domain, as I’ve noticed that the movie was subsequently available on home video from various public domain-based home video suppliers, such as Front Row Entertainment, Platinum Disc, Edde Entertainment, United American Video and MNTEX Entertainment (a Video Treasures/Anchor Bay Entertainment division).

I’ve googled whether the movie entered the public domain, and AI claims that based on copyright laws the movie is still copyrighted.

I seriously want to know if AI is true, or the PD-based home video suppliers is true.
