Fries Home Video
History edit
Fries Home Video was a subsidiary of Fries Entertainment that was formed in 1987 by Len Levy, a former executive at International Video Entertainment, and took the Monterey Home Video label from IVE.
The company picked up licenses for several children's shows, such as Care Bears, Denver, the Last Dinosaur, Saber Rider and the Star Sheriffs and Shari Lewis videos, in addition to mainstream feature films and children's product. It also had sports titles, and classic releases under the Fries Classic Collection label.
The company as a whole shuttered in 1992, as a result of declining sales.
