NV

A videocassette add-on for the Nintendo Entertainment System. Unlike all later Nintendo-designed video formats, this was an analog video recording format, similar to contemporaries Betamax, VHS, Video 2000, and Video8. Until 1987, Bell & Howell/Columbia Pictures/Paramount Video Services was the exclusive duplicator for videocassettes in this format.
