Celebrity Home Entertainment
History
Celebrity Home Entertainment was a home video label formed in 1987 by Noel C. Bloom, founder of International Video Entertainment and Caballero Control Corporation. The company started its own duplication division, Celebrity Duplicating Services, that was formed by former executives of Creative Video Services/Video Technology Services.
Initially, at first, the company spawned three labels, Just for Kids for children's titles, Let's Party for adult titles, Meta Video/Unicon Communications for public domain product, and Feature Creatures for creature titles, in addition to mainstream films. The company tried to purchase Video Gems in the midst of Chapter 11 bankruptcy filings, but it was proven unsuccessful.
The company soon shifted its focus to children's titles under the Just for Kids label. In the early 2000s, it was absorbed into Sterling Entertainment Group.
